“Most people run a race to see who is fastest. I run a race to see who has the most guts.” – Steve Prefontaine
Now that I’ve gotten serious about my re-entry into running, time to set some goals. Setting goals and running in races help make all of the training so much more exciting, and the energy at road races are like nothing else (hello adrenaline!). They can also help you to really push yourself and give you a benchmark so that you can see and measure your progress. I’m so thankful to have gotten back into running and have been having so much fun so far!
